There is no need to write any words to describe this session but if I had to sum it up in a couple of words:  love and beauty! 

 This session was photographed at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth, Maine.  

It has been a busy summer.  We have been very much enjoying our life on the island.  I am back for a few days and thought I would catch everyone up on what I have been doing professionally and personally.  The photos below are from some of my recent sessions, as well as, some of my personal photos of our summer.

From behind the scenes on a recent photography session…

While doing a product shot, my husband took some photos and video with his iPhone.  This is what he captured.  

What you don't see is me trying to balance in the dingy when they pushed it away from the dock so I could get a series of photos from a different angle.  Believe me, it was quite funny.  I think my husband was laughing too hard to hold the camera still enough to actually capture the moment. 

I always tell my clients that I am up for anything and this might just prove it!  I love trying new things and photographing from a dingy was definitely a first for me.

I know, I know, I know…I always say that I love every session that I photograph.  I am serious, I really do!  I get great joy in capturing little moments for families to enjoy for a life time.  This session was no exception; I had a blast and enjoyed every moment.  Some of my favorite photos, when doing a session, are the ones not planned - real life!

Today, while editing photos from a weekend on-location photo session, I reviewed this photo again.  When I first viewed this photo, I skimmed it and thought "Cute!" and added it to my clients quick preview.  See here.  

But after further review, I was all like, "Good Karma!" and just had to repost!  So, did you catch that?  I would love to know.

It looks like this little boy just might be on to something! Thanks, little buddy!  I needed to open my eyes.
